I’ve always wanted to add Camellia Japonica “Pink Perfection “ to my camellia collection so when I saw you had it I ordered it right away. The arctic blast we had last December killed many of my camellias but not giving up on them. Plant was packaged very well and looks very healthy.

This camellia came sturdily packaged. The plant itself was healthy and dark green and came with one bloom bud on it. The bloom opened after 2 weeks being planted and all I can say is I can’t wait till next blooming season for more of these to pop out. Wilson Bros handled their part of the transaction perfectly. Vainly, I had been locally searching for a ‘Pink Perfection’ Camellia Japonica for several years. I located the flowers at Wilson Bros in Georgia. I concluded my purchase on or about March 30, 2022; but when the flowers had not arrived by April 8th I commenced to search. I discovered that the shipping address was to an office I formerly occupied. I had left there five years ago under unpleasant circumstances. Because FedEx previously had shipped to me at that address, they chose to use the old address. The landlord did not notify me of the errant delivery. When I discovered the delivery location and went to check on the status, I was then notified by the landlord that the two plants ad been in their custody for ‘a few days.’ I took the plants home; unpacked them; watered them; called Wilson Bros and was told not to water the plants too much. A little late. The leaves have fallen but some small buds now are appearing. I have not yet transplanted the plants trusting that further disturbing of the plants should be avoided until the plants begin to thrive more. I am cautiously hopeful.
I believe that Fed Ex should have made a greater effort to locate me than merely to leave the shipment at a former address without notifying me of the drop-off delivery.
There is no excuse available to the former landlord. It is no wonder that the property is not full of tenants–and has not been for several years.’———————————–We are so sorry for the delivery problem. I ordered 2 different camellias from Wilson Bros. Both were packaged and shipped very quickly. I had the plants within a week. They were packaged perfectly. The root ball on both plants were a little small and didn’t fill out the 3 gallon pots. That said, the plants were extremely healthy and pushing out new growth. It’s only been a couple of weeks in the ground, but they have really taken off. New York has Georgia cousins! So far, it looks like these camellia beauties are happy in Northern territory! The plants arrived incredibly well packed, were abundant with leaves and even one flower. I purchased three of these plants. One was a birthday present for one of my closest friends. All three plants arrived in perfect condition. My friend was thrilled, as she is a Victorian enthusiast, and this plant was one of Queen Victoria’s favorites. The planting instructions were right on. Everything was perfect.. My friend and I have spent hours on the phone, looking at the Wilson Bros website, oooing and ahhing, and placing additional orders.

On 03/05/2020, I ordered two 3 gallon pots of the Pink Perfection Camellia Japonica online. Camellias were shipped from Georgia on 03/09/2020 and delivered by UPS on 03/11/2020.
I was very pleased with the packaging and health of the plants. Plants were strapped securely to a single, well-stapled box. Plants were also wrapped and taped in plastic to keep the soil moist and from spilling out of the pots.
Camellias did not have any noticeable damage, discolorations or signs of distress. I think the plants passed the bloom cycle, as there were no flower buds. Hopefully, next spring they will put on a great show of flowers.
Overall, I trust Wilson Brothers Gardens. If you are unhappy with the condition of your plants, they offer a discount within reason.

“I already wrote a review in Sept. 2019, and now it is late March 2020 (more than 6 months later), and I wanted to report the plants are all blooming beautifully–all three!! Very happy and family is impressed. Thank you for your reliable plants!! Throughout fall/winter, I have been composting small amount of organic material (orange & banana peels and egg shells) on the base of the plants, mixed with tons of fall leaves, and that could have helped given nutrients (without burning the roots…). I am very happy with the purchase of these beautiful and reliable pink perfection camellias.”

Based on other positive reviews I ordered three 3-gallon camellias. They arrived timely and well packed but unfortunately one had a broken branch. The other two looked terrific, meeting my expectations. I took a couple of pictures of the break and emailed to Wilson asking for advice. This was late on a Friday afternoon and I didn’t expect to hear anything until the next week. Within 20 minutes they had called and discussed how they could make it right for me!! The rep was very accommodating, placing customer service first and ended up sending a replacement plant at no extra cost. My plant arrived super healthy with gorgeous dark green leaves. It was impeccably packaged, undamaged during shipping and delivery was fast. My only regret is not getting the 3 gallon size. I only purchased the one gallon size so I will have to grown her quite a bit before I’ll see buds and blooms. I replanted her in a beautiful large planter and she is growing beautifully on my back deck. There are several new shoots in just a couple of weeks so I’m very pleased. Again it’ll be a year or more before I see those gorgeous Pink Perfection camellia flowers, so even though I know it’ll be worth it, I’m bummed that I have to wait. This camellia was a beautiful dark green healthy plant that came well-packaged. However, it did not have a single bud on it. So I will have to wait a whole year and a half to make sure that it IS a Pink Perfection.
